What Prelude is
Prelude is a deterministic pre-decision guard that evaluates system state before irreversible actions execute.
It produces a single answer — Allow or Block — stores that decision, and returns immediately.
What Prelude is not
- No optimization, tuning, or probabilistic scoring.
- No UI, workflow engine, or automation framework.
- No recommendations, retries, or overrides.
Deterministic scope
Given the same input, ruleset, and timestamp, Prelude returns the same verdict. This makes audits and incident reconstruction straightforward.
Deployment model
Prelude runs as a self-hosted Fastify + PostgreSQL service. Docker + docker-compose are provided for reproducible deployment.
Pricing & Access
Prelude is offered on a case-by-case basis.
There is no public pricing or self-service onboarding.
